He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed

What this quote is trying to say is that if you hang out with certain of people you are creating yourself. If your friends are educated and respecting people you are a respecting person as well. If you hang out with fools and bad influencing people you are one as well. This will later affect your future and life. An example is you study everyday with your friends and doing your homework you guys are wise. You are being wise to yourself and your friends. An example of bad is if your friends say let's go to a party but if in that party they do drugs and you decide to do it yourself. You in that position you will regret in your life if you get addicted to it. You won't be able to go back and stop being a fool because of your friends. All that you do in the past will affect your future. You could always change and prefer to be like you're wise friends.
