School Homecomings

A school homecoming is when you go to a high school, college, or a university game in which alumni are invited. In 1911 kansas vs missouri is claimed to be one of the several first football games. The tradition of homecoming has its origin of being held at colleges and universities since  the 19 century. A pep rally occurs during the big day  f a homecoming day. A dance also occurs and a homecoming queen and king during the time or half of the game. It encourages students and alumni to have school spirit and pride. There is also a activity called prom and it is based on how kids have to ask each other that they will go to the dance with them. It's also to have fun and have a prom queen and king.Homecoming has been a united state tradition. People and students in the town come together in late september or october to welcome back alumni and former residents. Its a homecoming that takes place every fall and is a important thing for all the high schools and they are mostly semi-formal.

I think its is a good thing theres such as a homecoming. The football game could be admire and appreciated. Its also good for kids to have school spirit and have fun with their friends it's a good formal.
